     Major engine manufacturers showcased significant updates to their traditional diesel platforms at early 2026 trade shows:

• [February - March 2026] Perkins: Showcased at major Q1 industry events (like The ARA Show and CONEXPO), Perkins highlighted its new 904 Series 3.6-liter diesel engine. It is a compact, twin-turbo engine delivering up to 173 hp (129 kW) and 740 Nm of torque. During these March exhibitions, Perkins also heavily pushed its 5000 Series for heavy standby applications up to 2500 kVA.

• [March 2026] Cummins: At the recent March trade shows, Cummins introduced the compact F4.5 Structural Engine for heavy-duty applications. They also highlighted their traditional 12kW Tier 4 Final mobile generator sets, emphasizing robust heavy-duty trailer designs for remote sites.
